What You'll Do:

• Lead the implementation of Catalyst's user interface, shaping the user experience and developing key frontend features.
• Collaborate with our backend developers and design team to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.
• Ensure the technical feasibility and optimal performance of UI/UX designs.
• Maintain and improve our website, optimising applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging front-end and blockchain technologies.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven work experience as a Front End developer, ideally within a crypto/blockchain company.
• Strong experience with modern TypeScript libraries and tooling, especially with ethers.js, web3.js, cosmjs and other crypto web frameworks.
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, and client-side scripting and TypeScript frameworks.
• Familiarity with automated TypeScript testing, specifically testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralised applications.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong ability to think strategically and analytically.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment.
